Chapter 8: Religion and Language

In Canada there are two main languages.  The first main language that is most common and used is English.  The second language that most people know is French. One in every five person knows French.    The most common religion in Canada is Catholic.  Catholicism is the most prevailing religion in Canada and is growing.  About 1/3 of the population is Catholic.  The second most common religion is Canada is Protestant.  A more than 1/4 of the population is Protestant.  Language and ethnicity has a lot to do with the person's religion.
